What devices are compatible with the Skratch Attach X10?

The X10 is fully compatible with the Rane One MK1 & MKII, Rane Twelve MK1 & MKII, Hercules T7 (with a laptop and the older app). We are developing support for additional devices — check the Compatibility page for the latest list.

Do I need your software to use the X10?

Not with Rane products the Hercules T7 requires a laptop. Not using the app has drawbacks that our app addresses, while also adding advanced features like real-time key lock and pad modes.

Will the mount damage my controller?

No. All mounts are clamp-based with zero adhesives and are fully reversible. No drilling, no permanent modifications.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Every unit is hand-assembled and made to order. Please allow 2–3 weeks from order confirmation to shipment. Times may vary depending on order volume.

What sizes are the tonearms available in?

The X10 works with 7 inch platters up to 12" platters.

What platforms does the app run on?

The Skratch Attach app runs on macOS and iOS. Windows is in the works.

Does the app have DVS?

Yes but it is in its early stages. We have a mode called Skratch Pads and it allows you to load samples or full songs onto a pad and control it with control vinyl.

What control vinyl is compatible with Skratch Pads?

Pretty much all of them. If there's a type you want to use that isn't in the list below we will try to accommodate you.

Do I have to use a laptop with the Skratch Attach app?

You can run the Skratch Attach app on a laptop, tablet or phone.

Does the Skratch Attach work on the Rane System One?

The tone arms do fit on the System One. However, we are investigating if the app and inputs will be able to work with the unit.

Are you able to record your sets in the Skratch Attach app?

Yes you can. There is a tape recorder feature in the app. It’s as simple as tapping the red button in the left corner to start recording and tap it again to stop. The recordings are stored in Documents\Skratch Attach\Tapes
