Stems

Split a playing track into its parts — in real time, per deck. Stems is the secondary mode of the Sampler: with the Sampler active, press SAMPLER again to enter it.

The four stems

Each stem has its own enable, solo, and gain per deck — kill the drums for an acapella moment, solo the bass, or rebalance a track on the fly.

Dedicated stem buttons

The MK2 has two stem buttons per deck, printed ACAPELLA and INSTRUMENTAL — one-tap access to the two most-used splits without entering Stems mode on the pads.
